The worst bad thing that is aggravating is that the fabric is entirely polyester, and very slick, so any blanket or coverlet put on top of it tends to slide off. The other negative is that it seems to get hotter in some areas than others, but overall I kept it because of the luscious deep teal color and because I can heat up my bed quickly with it. Because the power cord is quite short I had to put it sideways on my queen sized bed, which is how I noticed that the side closer to the wall is hotter than the other. Meaning I think they intend the foot to be hotter than the head. But I have both dials set to the same number so the heat disperses. Overall I bought it with an exhausted attitude, having read so many reviews about blankets that conked out on one side after a year, as my last one did. I have used it for a month now and quite like the snug feeling of how warm the bed gets with it. I hope it keeps working. So far it has been a big hit with my cats as well.EDIT on 2/6/22: Now one side has blinked out. I should be glad to have gotten two years out of it, it seems reading reviews that they all have planned obsolescence built in. The slip-and-slide of the polyester fabric has continued to be annoying, it does NOT stay where you put it and blankets on top of it also slide off. I'll be back to reading reviews and hoping I might be able to find a MADE IN USA alternative.EDIT on 2/12/22: Now the side that was still working has decided to quit, so tonight I went looking for a replacement and all the reviews have at least 25% of the purchasers saying they get only a few months out of the blankets before they quit working or the controls melt. Are they ALL from China? I can't find a single one that is not polyester, and it is beginning to seem like whatever brand you buy it is just a rental for the heat. Pathetic.This does look like a luxury electric blanket. Its soft and smooth. But it is heavy - and a bit slick - my cotton quilt won't stay on top of it. The cord is long and flat - the control has nice bright orange tabs - easy to see at night. It warms quickly and maintains an even heat. Wish it was a bit lighter.. but function is the most important. Just be prepared to remove your top quilt before going to bed. I chose the gray - it is what I would consider a darker gray. I like it. I wanted to include a photo of the cleaning instructions.... a bit intense and confusing on a couple of points... but likely a language barrier/mistake in interpretation - but for some reason I wasn't allowed to upload the photo. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.This plush electric quilt earned its keep during the uncommon bone-chilling weather in the Texas gulf coast region this week! It is luxuriously thick and heavy enough to keep me warm while using it over a sheet and beneath a light comforter without turning it on, and I rarely use the heater in the house. It could easily be used alone over a sheet. I like the controller because it is backlit and angled, sitting conveniently on my night stand to change functions at night easily. It offers an impressive range of settings for the perfect temperature. The quilt’s heating elements are unobtrusive and I love the pinsonic quilting pattern. I purchased it Jan. 19, 2021, I selected Teal, and I would buy another one without reservation. The dimensions for each of the four sizes: Twin: 62"W x 84"L; 1 controller; Full: 80"W x 84"L; 1 controller; Queen: 84"W x 90"L; 2 controllers; and King: 100"W x 90"L; 2 controllers.I do like this blanket. So far the controls are working and are easy to use. I like the separate cords for them. The blanket gets warm enough for summer on 2 so we'll see when winter comes. It is heavier than our last one but I like that. The reason for 4 stars is that it does slip out of place on the bed but doesn't bother us enough to not keep it.This is an amazing blanket. The preheat setting not only warms the blanket but also the foam mattress cover.I live in a park model rv with no skirting and temps are hitting near zero. (6 degrees as I write) no central heat just area heaters. The room is chilly but it's nice and toasty in bed on setting 6 of 20.The material is soft and the heat is dispersed evenly. My feet always got cold with my old blanket but not with this one.The only problem I've had is it slides around when I toss and turn. I have a twin bed and twin blanket. I wonder if sizing up to a full would solve this.I also like the low emf's of this product.I would definitely recommend this blanket.This is an actual blanket, not a throw. It's thick, warm, and SO soft it's wonderful. Heats up really fast and will stay on for up to10 hours. The control stays illuminated when turned on making it easy to adjust settings or turn off during the night. The light emitted is a low deep orange and does not effect sleep at all. The control also remembers the last setting it was on so when you turn your blanket on again it'll be at whatever setting you left it at last. It's slightly longer then a normal blanket which allows the plug in parts at the bottom of the blanket to remain at a distance from your feet. We love this blanket!We love the weight and feel of this blanket. Terrific value for the money!could be a little wider
